I'm a freelance writer who spends most of my time writing features, restaurant spotlights, business profiles, and the occasional cover story. My passion for writing is poetry,creative non-fiction, literary journalism, fiction, and memoir. My aspiration this year is to swallow my insecurities, branch out, and write for publications I love and admire.
I'm married to a wonderful man, and enjoy the love and friendship of a calico cat named Autumn and an Australian Shepard/Black Lab mix named Roma who, no matter how challenging a day can be, makes this girl's heart smile. I'm also fortunate to have my dad and his lovely wife Pat, an oh-so inspirational mom who died a few years ago of cancer, a palmful of lovely friends, and an incredible circle of in-laws, who likes me just the way I am.
One of my favorite things to do in life is to go out for a fabulous meal and a great, independent film--just me. There's nothing quite like it!
